We’re huge fans of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Great writing and a fun story with killer action, witty dialogue and cool comic booky, video-gamey visuals.
SPOILER ALERT! Watch the movie before proceeding.
Lessons Learned from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Sky: Persistence is critical.
- If you have a dream, pursue it. The Sex Bob-ombs kept gigging and finally landed a contract (ill-fated, but they landed it) and Scott finally got the girl.
Dusty: Never cheat on anybody you’re dating.
- Cheaters have no honor nor respect for themselves or the one they’re with. Doesn’t matter how hard it is, do the right thing.
JP Sears: If Meat Eaters Acted Like Vegans
Sky: Wallace said, “If you want something bad, you have to fight for it.
- It goes with the first lesson, but it’s an important idea for success in life.
Ramona gets some action with this awesome large-handled Mjolnir!
Sky & Dusty: Don’t partake of anything an enemy gives you.
- Any enemy would only have ulterior motives behind giving you anything.
